Tedee Smartlock
It looks like an inconspicuous doorknob, yet it packs a lot of smart technology: the tedee door lock Enables intelligent control and access control via smartphone and HomeKit without sacrificing an attractive design. The powerful motor lock, with a diameter of only 45 millimeters, is made of aluminum both inside and out, making it exceptionally quiet during operation.
Control options
Without a key, the door can be easily opened and closed using a smartphone, Apple Watch, or voice command. The lock can be controlled via Bluetooth and the tedee app (for Android and iOS) or via HomeKit. The tedee door lock can be integrated into your HomeKit setup via HomeKit and easily controlled via the Home app and Siri. Various automated scenes can be created, access permissions can be set, and the lock can be paired with other devices.
Tedee with home automation
Furthermore, the tedee lock can be integrated via web API into the smart home systems Amazon Alexa, Fibaro, Google Home, Loxone, and others. This requires the tedee bridge (sold separately).
Open automatically
The auto-unlock function via the tedee app provides added convenience, allowing the door to open automatically as you approach. The door latch retracts briefly and then automatically relocks if necessary. With the tedee app for iOS and Android, the owner has comprehensive control over who has access to the home, when, and how. They can send access permissions to family members, guests, or service providers anytime, anywhere, and choose between permanent, temporary, or recurring digital keys. An activity log provides the necessary overview.
Tedee with M&C cylinder
For mounting to the door, a special M&C Pairing is required. On the inside, the Tedee smartlock is simply placed on the cylinder and secured. Calibration is then performed via the app in just a few steps. Thanks to an integrated rechargeable battery, the Tedee lock can easily be charged overnight. The included charging cable is magnetic and can therefore be easily detached as soon as the lock is turned, the door is opened, or the cable is pulled.
