What does a smart bridge do?
It connects to your lock via Bluetooth and to the Internet via Wi-Fi: if a bridge between your device and the network.
The use of a bridge gives you options that are only available in online mode: auto-unlock, remote opening, notifications and auto-updates.
It also enables use with Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant.
The bridge should be placed no further than 2m from your lock.
You can plug it directly into a wall socket or connect it with a micro USB.
