Why is one side of my working M&C No cylinder?
It happens occasionally that one side of a M&C Cylinder no longer functions. Fortunately, this is usually easy to fix, and the cylinder doesn't need to be replaced.
What causes one side to stop working?
In almost all cases it turns out that there a small animal or dirt in the cylinder has crept. When turning the key, it is pressed flat against the coupling, causing the other side to block and no longer turn. This sounds annoying, but can be remedied quickly by opening and cleaning the cylinder.
How do you solve this problem yourself?
In the video below we show you step-by-step how to open and clean the cylinder.
