Your privacy is very important to MR Security. We therefore comply with privacy laws. This means your data is safe with us and we always handle it properly. In this privacy statement, we explain what we do with information we collect about you at the MC-cilinder.nl webshop.

Handling order
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to process it properly. We may then give your personal data to our delivery service to have the order delivered to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company.
For this purpose, we use your payment information, date of birth, name and address, IP address, email address, phone number, and billing address. We are legally required to do so. We retain this information until your order is completed and for seven years thereafter (which is the legal retention period).
Providing to third parties
We work with certain companies that can receive the above-mentioned personal data from us.

Statistics and profiling
We keep statistics about the use of our online store. These statistics help us improve our online store, for example, by displaying only relevant information. We may combine your personal data to learn more about you. Of course, we will respect your privacy at all times. If you do not wish this to happen, you can always let us know.
We use your data for this purpose. We do this based on your consent. We retain this information for six weeks.
Contact form
With the contact form you can ask us questions or make requests.
We use your email address, phone number, and name and address details for this purpose. We have a legitimate interest in doing so. We retain this information until we are certain you are satisfied with our response and for six months thereafter. This allows us to easily access the information for follow-up questions. It also allows us to train our customer service to improve.
Your account
Certain parts of our webshop require you to register first. You must then provide information about yourself and choose a username. We create an account with which you can log in with that username and a password of your choice.
For this purpose, we use your name and address details, phone number, email address, IP address, and billing address. We are legally required to do so. We retain this information for six months after you have closed your account.
We keep this information so that you do not have to fill it in again and again and so that we can approach you more easily if necessary at the webshop. You can change information via your account whenever you want.
Advertisements
Our online store doesn't display ads, but our products are displayed by Google. We don't publish these ads ourselves; that's done by advertising agencies we partner with. These agencies track your likes and use that information to only show you fun or interesting ads and offers in the future.
Provision to other companies or institutions
With the exception of the partners mentioned above and partners with whom we collaborate and subcontractors or brands that need data to make your product function optimally, we will not under any circumstances provide your personal data to other companies or institutions, unless we are legally obliged to do so (for example, if the police demand it on suspicion of a crime).
Cookie policy
A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit this website. MR Security uses functional, analytical, and tracking cookies. These are cookies with purely technical functionality and are used to ensure the website works properly and can be optimized. The cookies also ensure that, for example, your preferred settings are remembered. In addition, we place cookies that track your browsing behavior so that we can offer customized content and advertisements.
On your first visit to our website we have already informed you about these cookies and asked permission for their placement.
You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it does not store cookies anymore. In addition, you can also delete all information previously saved via the settings of your browser.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to keep track of how visitors use our web store. We have concluded a processing agreement with Google. It contains strict agreements about what they are allowed to keep. We allow Google to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services. We do not allow Google to anonymize the IP addresses.

You have the following rights:

To verify that the request for access has been made by you, we ask that you include a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, please redact your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, and within four weeks at the latest.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority is the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
To file a complaint
If you think that we are not helping you in the right way, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority. This is called the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
